That for starters is a lie as I don't steal anyone's images and claim as my own
I have never done that and I am always copyright compliant where I can
I know that this is AI, but it will not be tolerated as creating AI is not easy
I have proof starting with my Flower Fairies tubes
Person in question is Rene Mundt and said images are on her Pinterest account

Thank you Bekki ! I will add all this to my blog if I can. Not sure if the images will copy or not. I did report her and I'm waiting to hear back. I thought I recognized some from Caz too on Rene's Pinterest. She is a straight up THIEF. She is taking other peoples hard work and putting them on her Pinterest and taking credit.

ReplyDeleteThat is true and PU does mean personal use and not share the individual items as you see fit. Takes a lot of time to make AI freebies and for one tube pack (example) I've rejected more that the tubes that I've given. Thank you for your kind words.
DeleteThis is nothing new girls. I started out teaching PSP online. I had been designing for 24 years and I just gave it up after this was constantly happening to me. I quit blogging and forums and selling in stores. Even using sign ins didn't stop it. I recall one group that set up a store and then ripped everyone off. It's endless. If they can find a way they will steal. It's why many have gone behind the curtain into private groups to protect their works. Facebook is full of them. Still they steal too. Its a revolving door. I love all your creations, all the girls are amazing. So if you love what you do, just do it. If you find a thief, report it, make them pay for their crime, let everyone know. Go into the many forums and point them out too, let the store owners know. Eventually they will disappear, for awhile, then return under some other name and do it again. Like I said it's endless. But most of all just do what you love. With Love Pat

ReplyDeleteNever knew about Tamie, Christy as that one is new, I found out about it after someone called me out alone, no one else, just me to be a thief of one of my own tube packs. Prompts need to do more, and I am not quitting, deflated at moment yes, but I am not quitting, I fell into AI creating by accident as I was curious and I love doing it.

DeleteI completely agree with you for posting this on your blog. It’s just not right that someone would steal yours, mine and other images and even go so far as remove the names. And like you said, it’s already free to use. they should just respect the creator’s wishes.
ReplyDeleteWhy do they steal free stuff? That is easy to answer! So they can sell it without putting in any of the work to create. And to create a name for themselves on some platform. Like I said earlier, I have been doing scrap booking and crafting for 24 years. It is nothing new. I have given you ideas of how to resolve it, but its really just band aid solutions to an issue that has been going on every where, like forever. People steal gifs, music, videos, artwork, etc. Here is idea you all could try thou. Put a copyright symbol with your initials on it, somewhere on the item you create that can not be removed without damaging the overall creation. That will teach them not to steal and prove beyond a doubt that its your work. Love Pat
ReplyDeleteAI cannot be copywrited, and therefore you have no protection from this. As to it being "hard work". Yeah, typing a prompt is hard work. NOT. If you don't want them taken, don't put them online. All I see is a bunch of whining about something made from OTHER people's art through AI. You do realize the AI generators steal actual artists work for training? You in fact "stole" from real artists to make this crap.
